LBC Branch Pickup Guide for Receivers

Learn how LBC branch pickup works, what documents to bring, and how to avoid claim delays.

When branch pickup is used

Some LBC shipments are claimed at a branch instead of being delivered door to door. This can happen because of the service type, the destination area, a missed delivery attempt, or the sender’s chosen instructions.

What to bring for pickup

Bring these items when claiming a parcel:

  1. Tracking number
  2. Valid government-issued ID
  3. Claim stub or notice if one was provided

If someone else will claim the parcel for you, the branch may also ask for an authorization letter and a copy of your ID.

Before going to the branch

  • Check the tracking status to confirm the parcel is ready for pickup.
  • Verify the correct branch location with LBC or the sender.
  • Call ahead if the parcel is time-sensitive or oversized.

Why pickup can be delayed

Pickup may take longer if the parcel has not been scanned as available, if the receiver name does not match the presented ID, or if the branch still needs sender confirmation.

Useful tip

Take a screenshot of the latest tracking update before leaving for the branch. It helps the staff identify the shipment faster and reduces confusion if the parcel was moved recently.

Summary

LBC branch pickup is usually simple when you bring the right documents and wait for the shipment to show as ready. A quick check before traveling can save a lot of time.
