Same-Day vs Standard LBC Delivery
Compare fast local delivery with standard LBC shipping and learn which option is better for urgent parcels.

Two very different shipping expectations
Not all LBC shipments move at the same speed. Some services are designed for urgent local delivery, while others follow normal intercity or provincial routing.
Same-day delivery
Same-day style service is generally used for highly time-sensitive shipments within a limited service area. It works best when pickup happens early, the addresses are clear, and the origin and destination are within the supported zone.
Standard delivery
Standard LBC shipping is the more common option for documents, parcels, and nationwide deliveries. Transit time depends on the route, service level, branch cut-off time, and whether the parcel is traveling by land or air.
When to choose the faster option
Choose a faster service if:
- The item is urgent.
- The addresses are within a major city or metro area.
- The sender can ship before the daily cut-off.
When standard shipping is enough
Standard shipping is usually the practical choice for routine parcels, gifts, online orders, and shipments going outside the origin city.
Summary
Same-day and standard delivery solve different problems. If speed matters most and the route qualifies, use the faster option. If the parcel is less urgent or traveling farther, standard delivery is usually the more realistic choice.
